How We Research and Review Products
FIND N FORM exists to help Indian shoppers make better product decisions. This page explains exactly how we choose topics, research products, decide what to recommend, and how we make money. If anything here is unclear, write to us.
Our promise in one line
We recommend what fits the reader, not what pays us the most. If the cheaper option is good enough, we say so. If you probably do not need the product at all, we say that too.
How we pick what to write about
We start with real buying situations Indian readers face: “which one should I buy?”, “is the cheaper one good enough?”, “will this work in humid weather?”. We look at what people search for, what they ask in communities, and where existing articles leave questions unanswered. A topic needs to genuinely help a reader decide. Search volume alone is never the reason.
How we research a product or category
- Start with the problem, not the product. We first define what matters for the use case (for example, cushioning and fit for standing all day, or skin type and finish for a sunscreen).
- Check primary information. Manufacturer specifications, ingredient lists, manuals, warranty terms and official brand pages.
- Read independent sources. Trusted publications, expert guidance and, for skin and hair topics, dermatology and health sources where relevant.
- Study real user feedback. We look for repeated patterns in verified buyer reviews and community discussions, especially complaints about durability, fit, sizing and returns.
- Check Indian availability and context. Whether the product is actually sold in India, typical price bands, climate suitability (heat, humidity, dust, monsoon), sizing and return policies.
- Compare realistic alternatives. Every recommendation is weighed against other options in the same budget and use case.
Tested vs researched: we always tell you which
We separate three things clearly in every article:
- Hands-on experience: only when our writer has actually used, worn or tested the product. We say so explicitly and share specific observations.
- Research-based evaluation: when our assessment is based on specifications, brand information, independent sources and user feedback. We label this clearly and never write as if we used something we did not.
- Editorial opinion: our conclusion from the evidence, explained with reasons so you can judge it yourself.
How we decide what to recommend
A product earns a place only if we can explain who it suits, why, and what its limitations are. We do not recommend a product when the evidence is weak, its main claims cannot be checked, a clearly better alternative exists, or the only reason to include it would be commission.
Prices, ratings and deals
Prices and availability change often. We do not publish a price, discount or rating unless we have verified it, and we never invent urgency or scarcity. Always check the retailer for the current price before buying.
Health, skin and hair topics
Our beauty and personal care content is for general information. We describe ingredients, intended use and manufacturer claims carefully, and we do not promise medical outcomes. For skin conditions, allergies or persistent problems, please consult a qualified dermatologist or doctor.

Who writes for FIND N FORM
Our articles are written by Atoofa Khushnood, a writer, journalist and digital marketer who researches products and brands across fashion, beauty, personal care and lifestyle. Every article shows the author and the date it was published or meaningfully updated.
Updates and corrections
We update articles when something meaningful changes: a product is discontinued, a better option appears, new evidence emerges or prices shift significantly. We do not change dates just to look fresh. Spotted an error? Tell us and we will review it.
